Term One Week 6
Outward Bound Scholarship Nominations
Every year we are awarded two scholarships for Year 12 students to take part in the classic Outward Bound Kaweka (21-day) course. The dates for this year's course are 8-28 June. Please email Mr Pera at pe@hastingsgirls.com if you would like to be considered for this opportunity and would like more information. Your application will be considered alongside staff nominations.
House Poster Challenge
We have our first opportunity to gain house points. Ahnaliyah, our Community Liaison Captain is setting all students the challenge to create a poster promoting positive mental health awareness. This is an opportunity for students both on site and at home to get creative, and choose whether to do a poster by hand or digitally. Once students have made their poster email it to maaahn@hastingsgirls.com along with their year level and house. Email entries between 7-27 March to gain house points. The top 3 junior and senior entries will gain extra house points. If students have any questions feel free to contact Ahnaliyah. THIS IS OPEN TO TEACHERS TOO - EXTRA POINTS!
