- 9 March: Year 12 Biology students visiting the rocky shore in Ahuriri.

- 22 March: 'What About Me' Wellbeing Student Survey. A random selection of students from each year level will be asked to participate in a nationwide survey.
- 24 March and 25 March: Year 9 Rata and Science/Maths Hub Westshore beach trip (not an overnight stay).

Reminder to students and whānau
Lunches are not to be dropped off to school, as lunches are provided.
You can not drive into the school for pick-ups and drop-offs. The main gate will be locked between 2.30pm - 3.30pm.
Student Toolkit
We are currently developing a student toolkit which will be published on our school website. This will include information to help students navigate life at HGHS, such as: how to do photocopying, where to sign out, where they can collect lunch, etc. We would really like to hear from you on what would be useful in this kete. Please email Sonya at admin@hastingsgirls.com with any ideas/suggestions.
School Magazine
We're putting together a 'School Magazine Team'. If any students would like to be involved with the production of the magazine, and writing/designing articles for our school pānui, please email Sonya at admin@hastingsgirls.com, before Wednesday 3 March to join the team.
Sign outs during the day
If you are picking up a student from school, for an appointment offsite, you must sign out at the Student Centre.
