Student photos
Ākina Group and personal ID Photos will be taken on Wednesday 10 February 2021.
Costs for photos are as follows:
Class photo $14.00
Laminated ID card $7.00
Informal Year 13 photo $14.00
Formal Year 13 photo $14.00
The ID card is optional but is strongly recommended for all bus students, senior students or any other student who requires proof of age or identity.
Step 1
We would appreciate payment being made online into the school bank account:
12 3145 0140200 00. Please make sure to put your daughter’s name as the reference for the payment. If you don’t use internet banking, payment can be made to the Student Centre office. If you have credit in your daughter’s school account and wish to use this to pay for your photographs, please indicate below.

Uniform Shop Information
Hastings Girls’ High School no longer supplies our uniform. The uniform shop is now being run by The U Shop; from March the shop will be off site. So, from the 28th February students will no longer be able to use credit balances on their school account to pay for uniforms.
If you would like to set up automatic payments for uniform you can do so directly with the U shop.

Senior Students Kāhui
All Senior students not doing the Police course or trades must complete the sign up for Kāhui by Tuesday. Please see the email sent by Mrs Goodson and your Ākina coach if you are unsure of the process. You login through Kamar and the course selection.
Senior Study Years 12 and 13
Please re check your timetable through Kamar to see allocated rooms for study. You need to go to these rooms for this week. There will be more information in the year group assemblies.
Message from the Finance Team
This year we have made a couple of changes to our finance operations at Hastings Girls’ High School.
New Bank Account
Hastings Girls’ High School now banks with ASB and the account is 12-3145-0140200-00.
We would appreciate that any future online payments to the school are made to this bank account number. Please include your daughters’ name as a reference.
If you have an automatic payment to the school can you please update the account number. If you have a large credit balance please consider stopping this payment as we can no longer use this money for Uniforms.
Year 9 BBQ
Thursday 5 - 7.30pm Year 9's and whānau are warmly invited an informal catch up with staff. This is a fabulous opportunity to meet your daughter's Ākina Coach and some of her teachers as well as other parents new to our school community. We will provide a light BBQ snack at Te Rourou
Te Rōpū Manu Huia Practice
Te Rōpū Manu Huia starts again on Wednesday and Friday 4-6pm this week. If you are interested being part of this, please come to a short meeting in Room 24 after you have finished eating your lunch.
Year 13 meeting in Ākina Tuesday
Could all Year 13 students come to the Hall for an important meeting at the start of Ākina time.
