Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori

We are holding a special Hui-ā-Kura on Monday, 9.50-10.40am for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori in the Hall followed by the Flag Raising ceremony. Whānau are more than welcome to attend.
Hāngi for Thursday 14 September
To celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, Te Whai Hub are preparing Hāngi to be served for lunch (12.30pm) on Thursday 14 September.
Hāngi are $10.00 each. (Lamb, chicken, pumpkin, kūmara, potato, cabbage, stuffing). We have 130 available.
Please email Whaea Evelyn (LF) lf@hastingsgirls.com to order. Orders close Wednesday 13th at 3pm.
Pick up only from HGHS, entry opposite Frimley School.

Congratulations Jacinta Kereti for your Art Success
The Hawke's Bay Year 12 Art Exhibition opened on Monday. Jacinta Kereti submitted a series of photos: O le ola I le pule ole Tautua (Before your chief frittle you serve). She won the top prize of Best in Show as well as the prize for the Pasifika division. The exhibition will be held at the Hastings Community Art Centre until Saturday 16 September.
