We have enjoyed an absolutely fabulous day today.  Next week, all students will be working from home. Work has been provided by their teachers.  From Thursday, students can enjoy two weeks off.  We are all looking forward to reconnecting next term and having our timetable run in a more usual way.  Senior students will have a fresh start to their learning at the start of the term with a new set of internals in all of their subjects...

As the number of COVID cases across the school community continues to grow, we have made the decision to shorten the length of the school day. This will provide extra planning and preparation time for staff working with students whilst they are isolating at home.  Starting next week, the school day will now end at 2.30pm.  The Flaxmere and Havelock North buses will run earlier. In response to the latest changes in recommendations, lunch will be served to all students from outside Te Rourou from Monday. This will mean that while all students will remain in their Hubs/Kāhui during lesson times, they will be free to move around the school during interval and lunchtime. We are excited to greet all our new Year 9 students on Monday morning.  The day will start at 8.30am when students will be meet and placed in their Hubs.  The Hubs will be lead into their pōwhiri, (unfortunately no whaanui can attend) meet their Lead Hub Coordinator and their Hub mates.
