Junior Volleyball Nationals
This week our Junior Volleyball team attended the North Island Satellite Nationals Competition in Porirua, where they placed 2nd out of 22 teams!!!
We are so proud of the team and their achievements at this tournament. A huge thank you to our TIC (Blossom Sale) and to our coaches (Neva Mua & Moira Fomai) for all their dedication and time they have given the team.
Sport Hawke's Bay & Te Pūkenga Sports Scholarship
This scholarship is jointly funded by EIT | Te Pūkenga and Sport Hawke's Bay.
Applications are welcomed from any student currently representing the region in their chosen sport in Hawke’s Bay and whilst studying at EIT | Te Pūkenga.
The total amount funded to each recipient is $2,000 (max.) with up to 3 recipients per year.

Student Devices
From 2024 we are unable to provide a laptop for all students to use. This means:
Students should have their own device by the time they reach Year 11.
Juniors aren't required to have a device as lessons will be available in both hardcopy as well as digital.
If you are going to purchase a device for a student to use you shouldn't need to spend more than $1,000.
A 'device' is a laptop computer with a Microsoft Windows operating system NOT a Chromebook, iPad, other tablet, or Apple MacBook.
Harvey Norman are offering some device and support deals that may be worth checking out, especially at the moment, while there are Black Friday Sales.

Borrowed Laptops
Can students please remember to return the laptops they've borrowed to the Student Centre or Main Office. The devices are due to be locked which means they won't work until they are returned to school and reactivated.
